Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. De La Garza is a beautiful actress who was born 1977 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad and an Irish American mom. Then she began moving to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession within the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza soon realized that she was drawn to performing. After moving into New York and in 2001 she scored her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief dramatic The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of The Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The actress was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza, in the role of a regular cast member on CSI Miami was announced a few minutes later. She played Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most recent TV appearance was with NBC's rather dramatic dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was pulled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is from Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She grew up in a family that was conservative and very religious. Milano started her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her for an audition. Four girls were chosen out of more than 1000 aspirants. Milano has appeared in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
