Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is an American country and pop artist. After releasing two singles and an album titled Satisfied in 2007, she established the group Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her second album, titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she released The Blade which was another well-received album. Ashley Monroe holds a position as assistant village manager in Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working in the public sector, which includes nearly five year time working in Iowa City. As Assistant Village Manager, she is currently responsible for managing the Community Development and Building Department and the completion of tasks. Ashley assists in assisting with the village's services on a daily basis, while working with the local elected officials. Ashley's past roles included the budgeting and planning of government communications, staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate action. Ashley's involvement with national organizations and working in communities with different populations has given her an understanding of how groups that are of any size function. Ashley's course focuses on leadership, management and public administration from the viewpoint of a practicing practitioner. Her focus is on ethical and strategic decision-making adaptation to today's challenges and opportunities and navigating interactions between the community and government gives context to aspiring and working professionals within public sector organizations.
